Born in India and raised in the U.S., George started his creative path with a degree in Industrial Design. His career in film design began when Lucasfilm's prestigious visual effect company ILM, noticed his talent and offered him a position on their creative team, just out of school. At ILM George's earliest credit was Academy Award winner Forrest Gump. He then quickly climbed to be a lead Visual Effects Art Director working with his hero Dennis Muren on films by Steven Spielberg and George Lucas as well as the original Mission Impossible with Brian DePalma.
After 6 years as an Art Director at ILM George left to form George Hull Design. As an independent he is always pursuing the earliest, most creative stage of a film's visual development. As one of Hollywood's leading film conceptual designers, George specializes in creating unique and imaginative worlds including the vehicles, sets and mood that makes each film unique. His unique design aesthetic can bee seen in films from the Matrix, Star Wars, Bladerunner 2049 and Dune: Part 1 and the highly anticipated Dune: Part 2.- George C.
